2014 was a huge year for Capella in which we twice won UK small agency of the year (PRCA and PR Moment) and picked up some amazing new clients across the tech, sport and retail sectors. Our success is founded on our brilliant team and we’re now looking for some fresh creative minds to join us.
An exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and entrepreneurial individual to join our fast growing and ambitious team. You’ll work across 4-6 client accounts (mix of b2b and consumer), planning and executing media and social media campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
• Managing 3-4 existing client accounts (mix of consumer and ‘light’ b2b) and a team of account managers and execs
• Pitching and winning 2-3 new clients alongside agency founder / associate director
• Provide a senior and qualified presence meetings, and to lead these at the appropriate client level
• Giving high level advice on strategic issues and media handling issues including crisis management
• Oversee the management and organisation of events ranging from workshops, photo calls, press conferences, training days etc. on behalf of clients.
• Play a role in the growth of the business and its systems, organisation
• Represent Capella at industry forums, conferences and seminars
You’ll have:
• 5 years+ experience of agency/in-house PR
• Min 2:1 degree
• Strong understanding of integrated campaigning utilising traditional and digital/social media
• Tech sector experience across either consumer or b2b accounts
• Sport or FS sector experience an advantage
• Proven ability to plan and execute issues-based campaigns and creative solutions to client problems
• The presence to lead and inspire bright teams of execs and AMs
• Strong presentation skills and track record of winning new business
• Solid national media contacts
• Business skills – capacity management and budgeting
