Account Director for Boots
Redwood and Boots have had a strong relationship over a number of years and we are looking for an account director who will continue to nurture and develop this relationship. Looking after Boots Health & Beauty magazine and Parenting Club across print and digital the successful applicant’s priority is offering exemplary client services across the account team and to ensure all deliverables meet the highest of standards.
We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic account director who has around 18 months experience at this level with a small/ mid-sized client and is looking to move on to a larger account, take on greater responsibility and develop their career by working within a fast-paced account.
Areas of responsibility
Primarily responsible for the management of relationships with clients
Co-ordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work
Strong pro-active management of multiple project delivery across print and digital in a fast moving working environment
Takes on responsibility for all day to day budgets working with the account and finance team
Lead the account and creative team to provide the utmost level of client service
Actively looks for new opportunities to grow the business with the existing client
Skills required
Experience in professional client relationship management
Ideally a background in content marketing but general marketing and publishing experience will be considered
Agency experience
Understanding of retail with an interest in beauty and health
The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective team management capabilities
A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
