The Commercial Partnerships Team works across four key strategic areas of work: promoting The National Lottery, supporting NGBs to generate revenue, generating revenue and value for UK Sport and maximising the impact of UK Sport’s work on local communities across the UK.
We are now seeking to recruit an experienced, highly competent and capable Account Manager to lead on the day-to-day management of UK Sport’s commercial partners (BAE Systems, Bupa, CGI, IHG and Sportscover); to support the Business Development Manager and Head of Commercial Partnerships with the renewal of existing commercial partnership agreements; to lead on the day to day management of the athlete volunteering appearances programmes and to lead on the day to day management of the Athlete Inspire Programme.

We are looking for someone who has the following knowledge, skills and experience:
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Planning and project management skills to ensure flawless delivery of rights
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intellectually strong with commercial acumen
• Experience of effectively managing client relationships with a commitment to ensuring the delivery of a first class customer service
• Experience of providing account/rights management
• Relevant experience of working in a commercial, sponsorship or marketing environment
In addition the following experience / knowledge would be desirable:
• Experience of dealing with the National Governing Bodies and other elite sport stakeholders (e.g. BOA, BPA and LOCOG)
• Strong understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic landscape
• Understanding of the volunteering sector and the impact of this on society
