Assistant Accountant – Morgan Philips UK Limited

Key accountabilities include:
preparing the month end accounting information, develop analysis and commentary to be used by the Finance Business Partners and the business to inform financial decision making, provide monthly reporting to the Finance Leadership Team, collaborate effectively with the Business Partners on reporting and commentary as required and to ensure all processes and controls are updated and followed.

The successful candidate will be a Part Qualified Accountant mid way or close to completing your exams. You will be highly numerate with strong analytical skills coming with a flexible approach as well as being a self-motivated team player with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of stakeholders both written and verbally, including the ability to influence and persuade others. The ability to adapt and embrace change in a fast-paced changing environment is crucial.

Responsibilities:
* Analyse actual income and expenditure transactions
* Process manual journals to ensure the accuracy of financial data
* Variance analysis of actuals with budget and forecasts
* Prepare standard and non-standard reporting with insightful commentary
* Perform analysis, monitoring and reporting of financial and non-financial information
* Reconcile financial and non-financial transactions ensuring data integrity
* Provide Analysis and Reporting for month end on agreed processes
* Build relationships with Business Partnering team in multiple locations
* Investigate and resolve any queries in a professional and timely manner to ensure strong and effective relationships
