Business Analyst – British Red Cross – Derbyshire, Nottingham & Cheshire, East Midlands

This role offers the opportunity of using your accountancy skills and experience to help UK operations teams develop an in-depth understanding of their finances and performance.

As the business analyst, you will work as a business partner to UK operations teams across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire, to promote effective and strategic resource allocation through planning and budgeting, ensuring consistent application of nationally agreed standards at a local level. You will provide key support and business analysis to the directors and their teams.

You are likely to be a qualified accountant, with experience of the preparation of monthly accounts, budgets, journals, balance sheets and reconciliations (accruals and prepayments). You will be familiar with accounting software (ideally Agresso). In addition to your analytical skills, you will also require good communication skills, with the ability to provide advice and support to non-finance staff.
