Community Fundraising Projects Officer – Blue Cross – Carterton, Oxfordshire, South East England

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Community and Fundraising Events Team within the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate.

In support of the Organisation’s ambitious plans, we are looking for an experienced Community fundraiser to assist with increasing income through our Community and Events fundraising programme. With a minimum of two years community fundraising experience you will be responsible for establishing and supporting new and existing fundraising groups along with developing regional appeals in line with our centre development programme.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual with an enthusiastic personality to engage with a diverse range of individuals. They will be creative, well organised and able to cope with managing a variety of tasks at any one time. Excellent written and PC skills are required, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team. Outstanding communication skills at all levels are essential, and knowledge of fundraising databases would be a bonus.

You will have a flexible attitude and a friendly, supporting and approachable nature. A sense of humour is essential!
