Ruskin Mill Trust is going through a period of change and we are now looking to recruit to an experienced Director of Finance who will provide the leadership and direction to support the achievements of the Trust’s strategic objectives.
You will provide inspirational leadership and management that will ensure that ‘living finance’ is seen within all of the provisions and companies within the Trust. Ensuring that internal and external customers’ needs are met, and be a highly effective ambassador, representing the Trust’s interests with local, regional, national and international bodies.
As a member of the Trust’s Executive Committee, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Trusts Finance Strategy in line with the Charity’s Objects and its Strategic Plan. You will work closely with colleagues on the Executive Committee, the Leadership Council and the Trust’s Board of Trustees, as well as being the principal point of contact for, and managing a productive relationship with auditors, banks and other financial bodies including HMRC and tax advisors.
You must hold a suitable accountancy qualification, be able to demonstrate a track record of success within a comparable complex, multi-site setting; a strategic mind-set, able to align functional strategic and operational objectives with those of the organisation; a commitment to working closely with other professional services functions to deliver optimal financial outcomes; proven relevant technical and operational management experience; change management experience with successful outcomes; and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders internally and externally at every level.
