For over 90 years The League Against Cruel Sports has brought together people who want to stop cruelty to animals in the name of sport. By raising awareness and campaigning for change we have been the driving force behind such legislation as the 2004 Hunting Act. As we head towards our centenary we have ambitious plans to expand our reach in to new areas of campaigning.
We are funded entirely by voluntary donations. Our fundraising team currently raises significant resources each year from a diverse portfolio of activity including direct marketing appeals, legacy and trust activity, corporate and merchandise work. But we can’t stop here. Building on our campaigning success, we have set an ambitious growth and investment plan which will see us substantially increase our income over the next four years.
We are seeking a Director of Marketing and Fundraising to lead the team through this period of organisational growth. You will be an experienced fundraiser with drive, vision and enthusiasm. Passionate about the work that we do, innovative in your approach to fundraising and committed to being part of a team that strives to be a force for change, you will be able to demonstrate a results oriented track record and ability to operate successfully in a fast paced environment.
