The Finance Assistant will be responsible for recording essential data and entering journals to support the finance team delivering accurate reports to the wider organisation. This will include dealing with suppliers and supplier invoices, incoming funds, banking and bank reconciliations, payments to staff and volunteers, some payroll elements and the production of monthly reports, as well as administration of the Finance and Purchase Order Systems.
We are looking for someone with excellent IT and communication skills with an eye for detail and an enthusiasm for learning new skills and gaining experience in new areas, someone who is highly organised and very efficient.
You will have worked in a finance environment preferably within the charity sector and have experience of both Sales and Purchase ledger, with excellent excel skills and experience of using Financial software.
