Job Purpose

The Finance Manager is responsible for the day to day operation, accuracy and integrity of the financial accounting systems within UK Anti-Doping. The post-holder is responsible for producing monthly accounts, undertaking variance analysis and implementing financial controls. The role works closely with the Director of Business Services and in close conjunction with the Finance Officer.

The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:

• Formal accounting qualification such as AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting, or ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA
• Demonstrable experience of working as a finance manager or similar role
• Production of management and statutory accounts
• Experience of Government Accounting
• Experience of providing financial information to non-financial managers
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proven experience of building excellent working relationships
• High level of technical competence and a keen eye for financial detail
• A passion for, and knowledge of sport is desirable.
