Job Description
Position Purpose
– To deliver the provision of sports therapy/physiotherapy services to Fulham FC Women within an interdisciplinary approach.
– To provide training session, clinic and occasional match day medical cover for all games/sessions within 2019/20 season.
– Support the delivery of injury prevention and rehabilitation programmes that will maximise player performance, enhance recovery and reduce injury risk.
Responsibilities
(below are example responsibilities but this is not intended as an exhaustive list)
– To lead injury prevention/rehabilitation and strength & conditioning sessions, on Friday evenings to all players in squad
– To provide medical consultation and management of team during the season
– To provide occasional match day cover to all players in the squad
– To liase with coaching staff regarding load management of players during phases of physical development
– To provide treatment and rehabilitation plans during any modified training regime
– To liase and co-ordinate the with the appropriate people (including parents) to facilitate external medical management (NHS or Private Healthcare) of all players
– Deliver individual and group injury prevention exercise sessions for the squad based on their individual needs as required
– Keep accurate up to date records of all injuries sustained by players as well as all treatment, prevention and rehabilitation sessions and record them
– Maintain excellent communication and inter-departmental collaboration with all other facets of the club to ensure that the standards expected are upheld at all times
