England Squash & Racketball (ESR), the National Governing Body for Squash & Racketball in England, is seeking to appoint a Head of Finance & Corporate Services.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the future of the organisation responsible for the growth and development of an incredibly dynamic and exciting sport. Reporting to the Chief Executive your primary purpose is to lead ESR’s Finance & Corporate Services Department, providing leadership to a small, diverse team as well as the expertise to ensure that all financial and corporate services commitments are met effectively.

Working closely with an aspirational leadership team your responsibilities will include Finance, HR, Legal, IT and Corporate Governance together with the provision of support and guidance to operational managers. Responsibilities will include the timely preparation of monthly management accounts; the provision of insightful, commercially-focused management information and analysis; the development of a fit for purpose IT infrastructure; the review and development of internal control processes and procedures; cash flow forecasting and management. You have a real opportunity to make a real contribution to the organisation in this new role.

A graduate accountant, and happy to be hands on, you will be pragmatic, incisive and analytical. Resilient, results orientated and great with numbers, at the same time your people and communication skills will be first rate.
