ukactive is a commercially minded but not-for-profit body comprised of members and partners from across the UK active lifestyle sector. Our focus is a long-standing and uncompromising vision to get more people, more active, more often.

The primary objective of Client Services Officer role is to deepen the impact of ukactive with assigned accounts comprising of ukactive’s key members and partners thereby driving revenue by increasing the uptake of ukactive services , creating a ripple effect through member/partner engagement & delivery that leads to continuous improvement in the regard in which ukactive is held.

To apply for the Client Services Officer position, you should have minimum 15 months of experience in sales/ account management & relationship management. The post holder will be an ambassador for ukactive inspiring members, partners and colleagues to buy into and support the ukactive mission.

Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account management: Account manages assigned key members and partners thereby driving increased usage of key ukactive services and enhancement in relationships.

2. Achieves target assigned for increase in usage of ukactive services from accounts managed.

3. Manages integration of services provided to assigned accounts across all ukactive teams.

4. Manages Key account data. Analyses and flags opportunities to CS team for new business development

5. Supports Local Government Engagement Lead & Client Services Director for proposal writing, coordination for meetings and providing collateral as required for new business.

6. Supports CS team in researching potential prospects using the internet, CRM and databases, developing an assessment of the needs of the prospect.

7. Supports Client Services team in new product developments specifically for top 100 members & partners.

8. Supports Client Services team in delivery of Project 1K and on other CS & ukactive campaigns and events where required.

Essential Skills and Knowledge for the role
• At least 15-18 months of experience in sales/ account management & relationship management
• Experience in proposal writing & excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable passion for selling & account management
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Experience in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and the Internet as a research tool
• Ability to undertake research and then communicate findings in an appropriate, written and verbal form
• Delivering tasks on time, that meet (and exceed) expectations
• Communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities
