The director of a small but well established London-based technical consultancy working with architects and engineers requires a personal assistant and office manager.
The job role will be a mix of PA, PR and administration duties but ultimately could include a wide range of activities and would be open to development by the successful candidate.
The successful candidate is likely to have good initiative and willing to take responsibility.
Core duties would include:
office management; managing the office environment and handling ordering, organisation, cleaners etc
monthly payroll; for all staff
bookkeeping and bank reconciliation; Excel based
invoicing; tracking and chasing up unpaid invoices and paying invoices and ensuring engineers have raised invoices
PA duties; including answering incoming calls, email filtering and diary management for director
website management and social media; updating website and social media regularly, organising occasional revamp
business development/PR; this is open-ended but for example: increasing awareness and tailoring perception of TALL, making new contacts, promoting director, organising events, tender opportunities
supporting engineers; allowing engineers to focus on fee-earning work
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: by negotiation and subject to experience
