We are experiencing an exciting period of planned growth in delivery of services to ex service men and women and now need to drive and develop our regional and community fundraising activity to support this growth in the North of England and at our Centre in Sheffield.
As Regional Fundraiser you will be resourceful and creative with a flair for generating fundraising ideas that lead to increasing income. You will use your previous project management experience, gained ideally in a similar non-profit organisation, to plan, budget and deliver successful fundraising events throughout the financial year.
Working within Institute of Fundraising best practice guidelines, you will have experience of recruiting, developing and motivating volunteers, as well as experience of building positive relationships with local groups, community organisations and businesses.
You must be able to work unsupervised and be motivated by working closely to deadlines and targets. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to travel regularly within the local area and occasionally to other sites throughout the UK.
Home Based (Sheffield, Manchester/Leeds or North East)
Flexibility over working hours is essential and will include weekend and evening work where necessary
