We are an Investor in People and have Specialist School status in Mathematics, Computing and the Visual Arts. You would join well-qualified, friendly, committed Maths and Science teams with excellent technical support. Both Maths and Science are extremely popular subjects throughout the school with a large number of students progressing to our highly successful ‘A’ level courses. The school offers excellent support for NQTs in their induction year.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and well qualified teacher of Mathematics. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the ability to teach Physics, ideally up to A-level. Candidates whose degree or experience is based in the mechanics aspect of mathematics would be ideal for this post. However, other suitable candidates who show the potential to develop in this area would also be welcome to apply to join the ambitious team of professionals in our school. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who will be an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire enthusiasm in students. The successful candidate will have high expectations in terms of standards and will be able to contribute effectively to the future of the faculties. They will be expected to teach across the age range 11-18. The successful candidate will be joining a high achieving Mathematics faculty. Examination results at both GCSE & A level are consistently outstanding with our KS2-4 progress indicator putting the school in the top 1% of schools nationally.
