ArchitecturePLB is an award-winning architectural practice, based in London and Winchester. Our portfolio includes a broad range of educational and residential projects as well as unique civic and cultural buildings.
We are looking for an administration and marketing assistant to support the team of architectural staff within the friendly and collaborative environment of our London studio.
We welcome applications from candidates who are enthusiastic and organised with good multi tasking skills and graphic design flair. They should be willing to apply themselves to all aspects of studio life from answering the phone and greeting visitors to providing marketing and bid support to directors and managing marketing material.
Key duties of the role:
Administration duties include: maintaining tidy ‘front of house’, stationery, provisions, mail, petty cash, answering telephone, greeting visitors, organise refreshments for meetings
Marketing duties include: support in putting together bid submission documents, award submissions, practice brochures and reports. Maintaining marketing information databases.
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
Essential
highly organised, self motivated with excellent communication skills, ability to prioritise workload and to work to tight deadlines
proficient in the use of Adobe InDesign, Excel and Word
excellent spoken and written English
Desirable:
experience of Photoshop and WordPress online publishing
graphic design skills
an interest in architecture and the built environment
Education:
Further or higher education; NVQ Level 4 or degree level qualification.
The role is offered on a full-time, six month fixed term basis in our London studio. The salary is competitive and is dependent on skills and experience.
