The British Triathlon Federation is the National Governing Body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in Great Britain, responsible for raising the profile and delivering medal-winning performances and helping everyone discover, enjoy and achieve in triathlon.
Triathlon England (TE) is one of the three Home Nations of the British Triathlon Federation (BTF), the other two being triathlonscotland and Welsh Triathlon. The three Home Nation Associations are responsible for all aspects of triathlon in their respective countries, and contribute to the work of BTF.
Triathlon has an exciting new opportunity for a Campaign Marketing coordinator within the Customer Experience Department responsible for delivering data driven marketing campaigns to support agreed project activation in line with the British Triathlon and Triathlon England strategies.
Key interactions will include coordinating the delivery of targeted database marketing campaigns based on genuine insights. Deliver market segmentation analysis to enable targeted Membership campaigns. Coordinate a data driven approach to triathlon marketing. Deliver marketing campaigns around major triathlon events such as the 2016 ITU World Triathlon Leeds and Tri Liverpool. Coordinate triathlon campaigns that deliver impact and results within the target market building the profile and increasing participation.
We are looking for a creative, proactive and highly organised individual who will thrive in a leading NGB that strives to empower individuals to deliver their best. The successful candidate will have hands on experience of campaign execution and need to be able to handle multiple projects within their working day with the confidence to respond quickly to the marketplace.
They should spark energy and innovation within their thinking and have a drive to leave no stone unturned in the achievement of campaign success. Experience within the database and online marketing environment is imperative and sports marketing should be a passion. A team player and world-class communication skills are imperative in this role.
The role will be based at the British Triathlon headquarters located at Loughborough University; however, the nature of the role will require significant evening and weekend working and occasional travel.
