Job Description
• To develop the data offering and customer touchpoints across the business
• To be a champion for data, analytics and insight inter-departmentally
• Be the owner for all database queries (e.g. data feeds/integrity/housekeeping etc)
• Lead and maintain the segmentation of customers and define data requirements for personalised campaigns
• Manage the day to day relationship with our database supplier, ensuring that data feeds are delivered and managing change requests to ensure the database is kept up to date
• Support the marketing team by running and analysing data queries, automating campaigns, and evaluating campaign performance
• Identify potential areas of improvement in data-led campaigns or audience targeting
• Good working knowledge of relevant data protection law and regulations
• Develop and maintain multiple, customised dashboards for weekly/monthly reports in addition to creating documentation and presentations for regular reviews
• Lead and own the development and production of customer insight reports. This includes making actionable recommendations on our customer segmentation, which will drive profitable growth
• With the wider commercial team, identify potential business and product development opportunities through insight
• Identify gaps in our customer data and make recommendations on what we should be capturing as a priority
• Modelling our existing database to make recommendations on how to acquire, welcome and retain new look-a-like valuable customers
• Following trends and best practice across the sports and other relevant industries
