designjunction is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our rapidly expanding team in London.

designjunction is the leading destination for design in central London, held each year during the London Design Festival. designjunction has cemented its reputation for presenting cutting-edge contemporary design against the backdrop of challenging industrial spaces, breaking the mould of the traditional trade show.
designjunction is a carefully curated show, presenting the best in lighting, furniture and accessories from some of the world’s leading design brands.
Now in its fifth year, designjunction has a global presence in three major design cities including London, Milan and New York. designjunction is a show for the industry, by the industry.
The role:
This role is responsible for designjunction’s busy social media channels and for sending out newsletter communications across all shows – London, Milan and New York. They will also be the website manager, responsible for content and constant development; and support the team with design skills.
Reporting to deputy director.
Key responsibilities:
manage designjunction social media channels
create, maintain, review social media strategy
manage and program all email newsletters
work with rest of team to gather content for newsletters
work with Communications manager to create, maintain, review newsletter strategy
design work on newsletter (resizing images; maintaining template)
design of press releases
other ad hoc design work to fulfil sponsor requirements and support sales team
manage content on designjunction website
manage strategy for designjunction website, both in terms of design and content (working with web development team)
be a main point of contact for designjunction exhibitors, gathering content
issuing content to rest of team; public relations agency; design agency
feed in to weekly marketing report
creating ticket types on ticketing software
management of sponsor/exhibitor projects as required (e.g. two x large projects per year)
The individual should have the following characteristics:
a passion for communications, and all things digital
be a good writer, with an awareness of, and ability to adapt, tone of voice for different marketing channels
organised, efficient and thorough – able to keep track of regular tasks as well as prioritising urgent ones
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
a passion for contemporary design is an advantage
The individual should have the following experience:
two-three years’ experience in a similar role
proficiency in Adobe design programs and design experience
use of website content management systems- preferably WordPress or similar
use of email newsletter programs, preferably Campaign Monitor
managing social media channels in an exhibition setting (multiple engagers including exhibitors, partners, press, visitors)
managing a large amount of content
use of exhibition ticketing systems
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
