We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a digital marketing/PR executive, covering maternity leave on a minimum six month full time contract. The successful candidate will support the marketing manager and marketing director in delivering the agreed marketing strategy and plans for Oliver Burns, with specific emphasis on digital. They will also have their own areas of responsibility so there is a real opportunity to shine within the business.
Key responsibilities
deliver the agreed digital marketing plan for the brand – drive traffic to the website through the relevant channels for a luxury brand and manage social media
take full responsibility for OB’s social media postings across Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and others, to grow our following in line with business expectations
generate new ideas weekly based on market dynamics, current trends, what the team are working on
coordinate the running of the blog, including planning out content schedules and working with internal team members
write blogs
manage website updates using CMS to add imagery, new press coverage, blogs and latest initiatives
help create and issue Oliver Burns’ newsletters each month. Develop and agree content, write copy and select images for approval prior to release
consolidate and monitor the growing OB customer database
track and report KPI’s for online social media and web
manage the image library
assist in PR relationship management
organise the marketing function
What we are looking for
a marketing or business graduate with a min of two years experience from agency or client side within the luxury, design or property sector
highly proficient in social media and a genuine passion and understanding of how to get the most out of social media
a good understanding of and interest in the luxury, property, design & fashion industry
good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and work under pressure
excellent written English and copy writing skills
good creative and design judgement – ‘a good eye’
the amazing attention to detail required for a luxury brand
a warm and friendly personality, with lots of energy
strong PC Skills, including Photoshop
