We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our award-winning design-led architectural practice as head of marketing and communications to develop and manage our in-house marketing, PR and communications requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take a leading role in the marketing team, developing and implementing a marketing strategy.
The position would suit a confident and ambitious marketer who would relish the challenge of establishing marketing excellence within both the London and Manchester offices of an energetic, friendly, and people orientated practice.
Working with the directors to enhance the profile, positioning and reputation of the practice and managing the marketing team the successful candidate will have:
Professional skills and experience
a degree or equivalent; qualifications in business or marketing would be an advantage
a strong understanding of best practice in marketing, communications and PR
demonstrable experience (five years plus) and success in similar roles ideally within design or construction-related firms where knowledge of key contacts would be an advantage, although we would consider outstanding candidates working for professional organisations or experienced candidates from PR/marketing consultancies in the specified sectors
interest in and knowledge of the architecture sector and culture
proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with teams in a busy and sometimes high pressure environment
excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
experience in leading, managing, co-ordinating and planning
