The Role
Welsh Cycling has established itself as a leading governing body of sport in Wales, and we are now looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join our team. The role is based within our corporate team, but will support all aspects of communications in Welsh Cycling from development to performance.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience of working with digital platforms. The role will involve managing and implementing the marketing and communications strategy. The successful candidate will seek new ways Welsh Cycling can improve its brand in Wales and engage with stakeholders.
The role will be based at the Wales National Velodrome, Newport but will at times require travel within Wales and the UK. The role will also require work at evenings and weekends.
