Overall Purpose of the Job
Plan, create and deliver regular, consistent, high quality marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness of Lions Sports Academy brand and their offering, reaching and engaging the businesses key target audiences (teachers, parents, clubs, children and young people) to deliver sales leads.
Overview of the role
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, overseeing our marketing and communications activity, raising the profile of our business, supporting campaigns and promoting our camps and coaching offerings to our target audiences.
This is a new role within our business and the opportunity exists for the right candidate to make this role their own. We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, solutions focused, creative, self-starter who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
This would be ideal for a recent graduate in digital marketing or marketing communications, with some experience gained working within a sporting environment.
Strategic support and guidance will be provided by our experienced marketing communications consultant to enable this person to develop and grow further.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
– Work with the senior team to create and deliver an engaging marketing plan for acquisition and retention of customers; this includes research and identification of the key customers and key channels to best reach them.
– Identify and implement tactical campaign opportunities to continue growing awareness amongst our target audiences
– Ownership of our social channels with responsibility for regular, consistent posting of content and audience engagement
– Creation of high quality relevant, engaging content for use across all our channels including but not limited to blogs, case studies, social graphics etc.
– Delivery of email marketing activity including the creation of content and maintenance of the database
– Support the delivery of website to maximise UX and SEO
– Influencer, athlete, and other third party relationship development to maximise our exposure via their channels
– Analyse digital performance, provide reporting as required and develop evidence-based plans for improvement.
– Identifying new opportunities to reach our audiences
– Competitor analysis to ensure our point of difference
Experience of visual content production (video, editing, photography, Adobe creative suite) would be a bonus but is not essential
