Marketing and Website Content Manager – British Society for Rheumatology – Blackfriars, London

• Working alongside the Marketing and Digital Manager you will be responsible for developing the voice and creating a consistent brand style for all aspects of the organisation’s online presence

• Establish and store a collection of visuals that can be used on the website to offer a consistent theme

• Create, develop and manage content for the organisation’s web presence (requires working with content management software)

• The content manager will work closely with all the BSR teams and external groups such as the Regional, Trainee, Special Interest Groups etc. so strong communication and organisational skills are needed

• To work with the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology (BSPAR) to fully integrate their website into the new BSR website for launch in July

• Requires good copy writing and proof reading skills

• Understanding of how to track and report on all site metrics

• Knowledge of SEO and use of metadata

• To keep abreast of technological advances and apply them to best effect to ensure that BSR’s website and digital communications remain effective, efficient and impactful

• Knowledge of HTML and basic Adobe Photoshop skills

• To create a website to access the 100 E Posters that will be shown at the annual conference in April

• To support on the procurement and platform development for BSR’s E-learning programme

• To effectively co-ordinate the marketing of BSR’s Simple Tasks campaign

• To develop and implement a marketing plan for the BSR Registers

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

• To work alongside the Marketing and Digital Manager to support communications activities as and when required

• To support the Director of Events and Marketing in maintaining the BSR brand

• To ensure that all BSR marketing communications are up to a professional standard

• To support BSR’s e-communications and social media

• To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Chief Executive, Director of Events and Marketing or Senior Management Team
