Marketing / Communications Coordinator – Sheppard Robson – London, United Kingdom

Permanent – full-time – salary up to £30,000 depending on experience.

Sheppard Robson is recruiting for a marketing and communications coordinator to join its London office in Camden.

The role is focused around helping communicate Sheppard Robson’s expertise and broad portfolio of work and the successful candidate will play a significant role in delivering the marketing strategy for the practice. The right candidate will be highly organised and have the ability to juggle a challenging workload, which will include website management, media relations and updating marketing collateral.

The marketing and communications coordinator will work closely with the head of marketing and communications and as well as architects, designers and other members of the marketing team in London, Manchester and Glasgow.

The role is suitable for an excellent recent graduate or someone with up to three years experience in a relevant role.

The role will include:

helping manage media relations for the practice
assist in drafting key texts and creating documents to help promote the practice
enhancing the practice’s web presence
maintain the marketing team’s admin systems, including database management and un keep of image drive
helping identify and prepare members of the team for conferences and speaking opportunities
assist in preparing documents, including brochures, award entries and presentations

The successful candidate will have:

a university degree, preferably in a relevant subject
a genuine interest in both communications and the built environment
experience in using InDesign
excellent organisational skills and be able to juggle multiple projects/tasks at once
a track record of working with press and knowledge of the national, trade and other specialist press
a background using digital marketing platforms – including social media and website management
excellent attention to detail and writing skills
