ArchitecturePLB is looking for a marketing and communications manager to be based within our London or Winchester studios.
Architecture PLB is an accomplished design-led practice with two creative and friendly studios in London and Winchester. Winner of AJ Employer of the Year two years running, we have a reputation for high quality design, particularly in education and housing. Our portfolio includes projects for London School of Economics, London South Bank University, Westminster College, Merchant Taylors School, Radian Housing and Winchester City Council.
This is a newly created role and so an exciting opportunity to work closely with the directors to devise, drive and implement all aspects of our marketing, business development and communications activity. The successful candidate will lead on: marketing strategy and planning; communications – ideas and content creation; website and promotional material; and coordination of business development activity. They will also manage an assistant and inputs from other staff members.
We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate that they are:
experienced across all aspects of marketing and communications – probably degree qualified and currently in a similar or supporting role within an architectural practice or other construction-related/professional services organisation
a creative thinker, full of ideas, with the imagination and awareness to create a programme of activities that reinforce and enhance our reputation for high quality design
a talented communicator, able to: make connections and build relationships; work effectively with people at all levels; spot stories and relay them in an interesting way and write creatively and proficiently
strategic and proactive, yet able to keep a firm eye on the detail
visually literate, with ‘a good eye’ for design – a working knowledge of Adobe CS6 suite
