The British Fashion Council is seeking an enthusiastic marketing executive to join the communications department.
Job description:
assisting with the management of multichannel marketing campaigns across all British Fashion Council (BFC) events and initiatives
overseeing the creation of video, photography and printed collateral inline with the relevant brand guidelines
developing and delivering campaigns, brand projects and innovative, creative solutions that exceed the needs and expectations of the key stakeholders and target audiences
supplementing the work of external creative agencies, developing artwork, both digital and printed, in response to briefs set by the department
advising colleagues and external partners of appropriate creative application and use of brand tools according to guidelines
writing briefs and scoping documents
developing presentation templates for internal and external use, adhering to the brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms and communications and supporting colleagues in building presentations
approving use of BFC logos on external collateral
developing and continually reviewing brand guidelines
handling close working relationships with external creative agencies and freelancers
Professional experience and skills:
graduate with two to four years of fashion branding and/or marketing experience essential
aware of and interested in the design world, current trends and innovation
proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
some experience in graphics and/or moving image software preferable
knowledge of production and printing processes beneficial
has a meticulous attention to detail
manages very tight deadlines and can prioritise tasks in order of importance, to ensure delivery
confident in presenting, liaison, meetings and relationship management with external bodies and company‐wide to meet delivery deadline
is solutions focused and manages problems in a positive and innovative way
can work with a team to identify new opportunities within current working practices
forges and maintains good working relationships, delivering outcomes that meet all requirements
is commercially aware and ambitious professionally with a strong work ethic
excellent relationship, communication and negotiation skills in dealing with the highest levels both face-to‐face and on the telephone
represents the BFC and acts as an ambassador at events
Salary, benefits and additional information:
this is a full-time, permanent position
salary: up to £22,000, dependent on experience to fully deliver on criteria
standard company benefits, including 25 days annual holiday
standard company working hours, flexibility required during events, exhibitions, etc
confirmation of appointment and eligibility to benefits, subject to successful completion of a three month probationary period
