Job Description
Cambridge Rugby are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our commercial team based in Cambridge.

The role
is part time, and would require approx 15 hours per week which can be based remotely and / or be based at the club on Grantchester Road, CB3 9ED.
The Marketing Executive will complement our existing team developing the club’s marketing and sales strategy and creating opportunities for the commercial growth of the club.
As an effective Marketing Executive you must be an excellent communicator and have strong people skills, you must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as having excellent written communications skills, and an understanding how to communicate to our customer base through varied communication channels to drive engagement will be essential.

Requirements:
• Experience as marketing / sales representative or other customer service role
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets, seeking and driving sponsorships and partnerships.
• Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.
• Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
• Keen interests in Sports (ideally Rugby)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
• Strong negotiation skills
• Being target driven.
• Potentially option of weekend work during our busy times
• Ability to work well in a team environment
