BACKGROUND
Dallaglio RugbyWorks is a long-term intensive skills development programme, based on the values of rugby, delivered to 14-17 year olds outside of mainstream education. The goal? To ensure they achieve sustained education, employment or training.
Dallaglio RugbyWorks is a three-year programme, working with young people from year 10 to year 12. Coaches currently work nationally in over 70 Alternative Provision Schools. Each pair of RugbyWorks coaches leads small groups of 8-10 young people, establishing the trust and support that is vital to their mentorship.

REPORTS TO
The Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Fundraising.
JOB OVERVIEW
This post will lead on all Dallaglio RugbyWorks marketing activity across our fundraising and operational activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
– To manage all marketing and communications activity for the charity.
– Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and deliver the Marketing strategy.
– Work with the Events Manager to co-ordinate marketing activity for events, including sales and onsite marketing collateral.
– Oversee the charity’s marketing budget
– Manage the relationships with the charity’s freelance designer to create and deliver all marketing materials across the organisation.
– Overall responsibility for brand management, identity and tone of voice with management and responsibility of all marketing assets.
– Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications including analytics and data reporting.
– Manage the charity’s PR activity alongside relevant agencies to deliver publicity for the charity.
– Project management of the brand film and subsequent video content. Working with the production company to manage filming schedules, content development and budget.
– Work with the Operations team and the Fundraising team to develop and deliver the charity’s Social Impact Report and Annual Report.
– Implement the digital strategy and content outputs across all social media channels.
– Website management and content creation.
– Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relative charity functions are being kept informed of marketing activity and objectives.
– Other reasonable duties as may be required by the Head of Fundraising and the Chief Executive.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge and Experience
– Experience in developing briefs and project management of marketing campaigns within deadline.
– Experience in brand management.
– An ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with prospective partner agencies and interagency work.
– Previous experience using a database system.
– Experience of data analysis and reporting.
– Experience in copywriting.
– Experience of budget management with a requirement to balance quality of production with cost.
– Experience in relationship management across a broad range of ages and levels of seniority.
– Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing and communications.
Skills
– Able to work independently and use initiative. You will need to prioritise various work streams depending on upcoming deadlines.
– You will have the capability and flair to write creative and factual copy for a range of audiences.
– Strong interpersonal skills.

OTHER INFORMATION
Working hours are 9:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, but flexible working will be required to cover any out-of-hours meetings, evening visits and other events. Attendance at other Dallaglio RugbyWorks events and conferences will sometimes be required. A time off in lieu is in operation.
The jobholder will require an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting the role.
We offer 25 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and an additional day off for your birthday!
