Post Title: Marketing Officer
Role Status: Full time – 35 hours per week (fixed term contract for 18 months)
Organisational Base: EFL House, Preston. The EFL Trust operates under hybrid working policy (Flexible working arrangements in place).
Reporting To: Marketing Manager
Salary: Band 2. Starting Salary £18,296 up to £25,091 dependant on experience.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Marketing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Officer, who will support with the delivery of the EFL Trust’s programmes and amplification of Club Community Organisations activities as the key priorities, specifically on the partnership marketing requirements with our Smart Energy GB programme. Smart Energy GB is the not-for-profit, government-backed campaign helping homes and small business across Great Britain understand the importance of smart meters and their benefits to people and the environment.
You will be supporting the implementation of the Marketing Operations objectives of the Smart Energy GB and EFL Trust partnership and programme, including supporting CCOs, creating content and social media posts. You will also support the delivery of marketing materials and raising awareness of other EFL Trust’s programmes and supporting marketing requirements when required.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate should hold a higher education qualification and/or a minimum of two years’ experience within a marketing or communications environment including examples of copy writing, social media work, basic video skills and ideally overseeing projects.
Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role and the candidate must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to build strong and effective relationships. The candidate must have self-discipline to manage their own workload and focus on priorities. A friendly, outgoing and approachable personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
