East London based design and manufacturing practice seeks experienced and organised team member to manage daily operations to ensure that Cycloc operates as efficiently as possible to meet the expectations of our customers and clients. The successful candidate would need to be flexible in order to support the team and demands of a small, growing company.
Duties include:
Core duties:
creation, issue and management of quotes, purchase orders and invoices
marshalling and management of product enquiries (phone and email) from consumers and trade
ongoing liaison with suppliers, clients, customers, distributors and retailers both nationally and internationally
monitor the efficient supply of Cycloc products from suppliers into multiple market channels, including overseeing warehouse inventory for B2B and B2C customers and forecasting stock requirements both nationally and internationally, including preparation and issue of necessary export documents
implement procedural activities to ensure smooth administration of client accounts
collating sales information in report format
assisting in creating and updating a Cycloc office manual
reviewing, optimising and implementing best practice in process and procedures
Other duties:
attendance at trade shows both nationally and internationally as required (limited amounts of weekend working may be required but will be compensated with time in lieu)
involvement in preparing presentation and marketing materials, liaising with clients and suppliers and presenting work from time to time to ensure that we are actively supporting our products in the marketplace together with gathering information that can inform new product development or improvement to existing product lines
occasional fulfilment and dispatch of sample product orders to press and trade
Key skills and experience:
Administration and management:
must be highly motivated and organised
excellent administration and management required together with invoicing and accounts experience
sound knowledge of warehouse and supply chain management including exporting of products
excellent customer relations skills and sales experience
ability to manage and co-ordinate daily operations together with forecasting future requirements
an understanding of large online retail platforms and omni-channel sales
IT skills:
Microsoft Office and Quickbooks are an advantage
knowledge of Prestashop is an advantage
Languages:
excellent written and spoken English
additional languages an advantage
