Gardenesque is new brand which is currently at pre-launch and is led by a team experienced in the UK garden industry looking to bring substance and style to outdoor living.
We are focused on innovation and creating new consumer products to be sold in our showroom and on our B2C website, which is being developed.
Our range of garden ceramic planters have been very well received and we are looking to expand our brand into new product ranges such as outdoor furniture, garden tools, soaps, fabrics and gift items.
Gardenesque draws upon the fascinating sweep of English garden history. Our aim is to retrace the evolution of its philosophies and reinterpret them for modern living.
We are seeking a talented designer with experience to join our team. We are hiring more for talent and cultural fit than we are for experience level.
As a start-up we are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit who is self-driven and motivated to succeed. We seek a creative mind, with the skill to understand and analyse the commercial potential of our products.
The designer will be key to the creation of our product stories and will help to share and build the Gardenesque lifestyle online.
Requirements:
to share our love for gardens and all things garden related
professional experience in design
relevant degree
ability to solve problems creatively and intuitively
collaborate with other disciplines
strong working knowledge of digital tools – CAD Software (Solidworks) as well as Photoshop and Illustrator
strong verbal and written communication skills
hands-on personality and willingness to get involved in different aspects of the business
Benefits:
salary: £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
holiday: 25 days holiday per annum
membership of company healthcare scheme after a qualifying period
