Production /Operations Intern – Copper & Silk – London

London-based lighting designer and manufacturer Copper & Silk is seeking an organised individual to aid in the creation and implementation of weekly production schedules.

Responsibilities will include detailed planning of each stage of manufacturing across a wide range of lighting products; including lampshades, lighting and lighting accessories.

Planning and strategy should be among your key strengths, allowing you to construct and update manufacturing schedules to a high standard.

Candidates must be enthusiastic and have a professional working attitude. An ability to oversee several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is a necessity.

The successful candidate will be offered a diverse role within a rapidly expanding business.

There will be an opportunity to be involved in projects for renowned interior designers, high-end retailers and high profile properties as well as creative opportunities to work alongside senior staff.

The role is for three days per week, contracted for a period of four months from 14 September to 14 December 2015. Core office hours are 9am to 6pm. Alternative hours and days may be required closer to the date of the exhibition, with some weekend dates being a possibility.

This is a paid part-time position. Additional travel costs during Decorex International will be reimbursed.
