Marketing and Sales Manager Job Description
The Marketing and Sales Manager will be responsible for creating an enjoyable, empowering and achievement focused environment throughout our workforce, partners and clients that we work with, to increase the capital available to deliver our excellent products. They must believe in our company ethos of using sport to empower people to change their lives, and install this belief in everybody that we work with.
Pay: 20k p/a (pro-rata), plus bonus and benefits
Location: Coventry
Hours: 25 hours p/w (13,333p/a)
Working Arrangements: Flexible where agreed
Contract type: Part time, Fixed Term (1 year) starting 1st May 2016 (potential to start earlier).
– Potential for future full time role.
Marketing and Sales Manager Job Duties:
• Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C. I.e. PE to schools
• A strong commitment to the customer life cycle.
• Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge.
• Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the company strategy/business plan. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives and key performance indicators.
• To report monthly on key performance indicators/targets
• Budget management (to deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget).
• To direct marketing staff where budgets are devolved.
• To manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
• To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
• To manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.
• To develop and implement a company-wide plan to push product, working with all departments for its execution
• To analyse potential strategic partner relationships for product lines.
• Marketing and Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:
• Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff.

Person Specification
• At least 2 years sales and marketing industry experience.
• Experience with a company or organisation in the sport/education sector.
• Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
• A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Willingness to travel and work flexibly in a team of professionals.
• A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
• An understanding or willingness to learn about digital marketing.
• A strong understanding of delivering social media marketing campaigns.
• Willingness to learn and manage our CRM software.
• Excellent IT skills
• A knowledge of how to use various Marketing and Graphic design software
