Refined Media are embarking on several hugely exciting projects in 2016 across both print and digital platforms within the luxury sector – we are looking for a Senior Features Writer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will get the best breaking news and exclusive stories in order to create engaging, inspirational content that will keep readers excited by all our publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Researching, writing and sub-editing short feature articles for Refined Media’s portfolio across both print and digital
Ensure all editorial content is in keeping with Refined Media’s core values of innovation, leading quality and commitment to exceeding client’s expectations and results
Working closely with the wider creative team
Taking articles right through the editorial process from research to completion
Working with freelancers and contributors
Maintaining the article databases for the magazine
Uploading online content
Developing ideas for the whole Refined Media portfolio
Liaising with PRs, local contacts, tourist boards and town councils
Promoting the brands via social media channels
Reviewing venues
Skills:
Strong writing and sub-editing skills
Extensive book of contacts
Shows initiative, has a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail with experience in the luxury sector
Experience of writing across print and digital platforms
Experience working on the Adobe package particularly InDesign
Ideally with an understanding of SEO
