We are a British designer and manufacturer of contemporary furniture for the commercial sector. With our own factory in Hampshire, we produce seating collections for the workplace, hospitality and cruise markets.
Having recently opened a showroom in Clerkenwell, we are now looking for someone creative to join our team and support our new activities.
The showroom events coordinator is an important role within the marketing and sales team. Sales activity combined with sales events are key parts of the job and the ability to organise and always present the showroom as a well run, interesting and stimulating environment.
Job description:
promote the design led image of the Morgan brand
acquire a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and sales process
increase showroom generated sales and visits
organise showroom events and manage catering or other suppliers
coordinate marketing activity to support the events
ensure the smooth running of the showroom
assist in designing, planning and installing display and exhibitions
organise delivery of samples and renew layout at least quarterly
issue all marketing material to sales and ensure it is up to date
The successful candidate will be:
a team player
customer service focused
experienced in event management and good with people
organised and able to communicate well
ideally from a design background, passionate about furniture and interior design
