William Reed Business Media is a leading international media company focussed on the food and drinks industry.  Based in our newly refurbished offices on the outskirts of Crawley, West Sussex we are seeking an experienced and career driven Group Editor to run the content teams across two of the company’s most successful brands, The Publican’s Morning Advertiser and M&C Report.

We’re looking for a highly successful editor who has the required experience in print, digital and events to lead an award winning team of journalists.  The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader, highly organised, commercially minded and have a demonstrable track record of successfully leading content teams to create market leading products across different media.

As fluent in digital media as in print, you will also need to be a confident public speaker and an accomplished people manager, with the drive, determination and tenacity to get things done effectively and within budgets.

The Publican’s Morning Advertiser is the leading title in the UK’s vibrant pub market.  Established in 1794 it is one of the oldest publications in existence, with an enviable track record of successful publishing.  The brand has a significant presence through a weekly printed journal going to 30,000, daily digital newsletters, a website with 130,000 unique users and an exceptional portfolio of F2F activity, including awards, conferences and experiential events.

M&C Report is a highly successful subscription only digital newsletter and events series for the eating and drinking out market.  Spanning pubs and dining chains it is the must read publication for senior personnel in the industry.
