Visual Merchandising Manager – Forevermark – London, United Kingdom

Forevermark are looking for a visual merchandising designer to join their central marketing team in London.

Background:

Requirements:

New product development:

design and development of new visual merchandising concepts, to include in-store merchandising material (jewellery displays), POS communication material, packaging, retail layouts and other retail marketing initiatives for centrally led projects and local market requirements
design and develop retail layouts for events and event space designs for roadshows
generate mood boards and concept boards for sell-in purposes
work closely with local markets on exact VM requirements in order to fulfil briefs
create VM presentations/overview documents and deliver VM development updates to local markets
create and update technical drawings for existing and new POS material

Trade communications and guidelines:

create and maintain trade communication documents and guidelines including VM set-up instructions and guidelines, manuals and in-store material catalogues
arrange and oversee translations for all markets
work with in-house graphics department to photograph VM materials for catalogues and provide direction and be a lead for the filming of ‘how to use and set up VM materials’ for jewellers

Production:

working closely with the purchasing manager ensure production agencies and manufacturers produce and execute on-brand display materials that meet Forevermark’s quality standards

Experience:

minimum of five years proven new product development, POS and 3D visualisation experience for jewellery retailing
ability to understand specs/cutters of 3D POS solutions
thorough understanding of all elements of design: 3D, 2D, artwork, page layout, colour and typography
experience in 3D rendering and a solid grasp of 2D graphic design
experienced in developing guidelines and supporting trade communications
can take projects from ideas/concept stage through to final technical drawings packs whilst delivering within defined budgets
able to clearly communicate creative concepts in both formal and informal settings
understanding of digital desirable
must be fully proficient in Vectorworks (or equivalent), Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch-up, PowerPoint and Word
