Job Description
Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for Casual Academy Therapists to provide support to the Academy training and games programme. This role requires flexibility to provide evening and weekend pitch-side cover. The successful applicants will be required to provide assistance to an academy injury clinic when required.
As a Casual Academy Therapist, you will be required to assess all injuries sustained by Academy players U9-16s deliver effective and suitable treatment plans along with supporting rehabilitation programmes. You will also be required to maintain up to date medical records and provide appropriate feedback to the player, parents and relevant Academy staff. The role also requires attendance to relevant CPD events.
The ideal candidate will have a BSc Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy qualification. They will maintain registration with their respective governing bodies. Holding as a minimum an in date FA ITMMiF (intermediate trauma medical management of injuries in football) qualification or equivalent is essential for the role. Previous experience within a sporting environment is desirable.
Positions
will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis.
