Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Mansfield Town FC for a graduate Sports Rehabilitator/ Therapist or Physioherapist to join the Sport Science & Medicine Department. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting and developing young footballers in the academy using evidence-based practice.
The successful candidate will provide medical services to the schoolboys for training sessions and pitch side cover to the schoolboy teams on match days; receiving regular supervision from the Head of Academy Medical Services and working alongside the wider academy team. CPD will also be offered as part of the departmental programme.
Hours: Monday/Friday/Sunday
Sunday academy games programme (Approx 12 Hours Per Week)

Main duties include:
Provide pitch side first aid and trauma cover during training sessions and academy matches, in accordance with the clubs EAP.
Liaising with the Head of Academy Medical Services to optimise assessment and treatment of the academy schoolboy players.
Liaising effectively with the coaching staff in order to keep them informed on player availability.
Assisting with prehab and rehab within the academy from U9-16.
Assisting in evening clinics to effectively and efficiently assess and treat injuries from the U9-16 age groups.
Keep the PMA updated regarding players’ injuries and rehabilitation sessions.
