ACE Development Officer – Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club – London

Job Description
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club are excited to partner with the ACE Programme and ECB to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for supporting and developing diverse communities and working with multiple partners and organisations.

The role
combines coaching and development work and will be responsible for engaging young people from diverse communities, but predominantly within the Black British communities, by inspiring children and young people into becoming active members of the cricketing community whether they play, attend or follow the game.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the development of cricket and inspiring children in the Black British community into cricket.
You will work with a range of community groups and organisations, schools, clubs and charities to create local playing opportunities to help identify the next generation of professional cricketers.
To be successful in this role you will need to show initiative, have strong organisational and IT skills, have experience of working in diverse communities and coaching/teaching children of all ages and ability. You need to be a self-starter and innovative, reliable and flexible and be able to work evenings and weekends.
