Architectural Assistant Part-II – LTS Architects – London

LTS Architects are an award-winning studio of designers based in a quiet mews off Bermondsey Street. We are committed to design excellence, sustainable outcomes and the highest quality of service. These aims are underpinned by a simple desire to make a better built environment and through this positively contribute to peoples’ lives.

The practice has extensive experience working on a diverse body of projects, currently including a science gallery and cultural space in the heart of Guy’s Hospital campus, in close proximity to the Shard, a range of one-off residential and larger developments, and a number of higher education projects. We also have a range of exciting new projects and an invited design competition on the horizon.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team. The role will consist of a diverse scope of responsibilities across all stages of architectural design and production, working under the supervision of project architects and directors. We have a number of jobs on site at present and there will be opportunities to gain on-site experience which can be furthered into Part-III accreditation.

Candidates should be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills in addition to excellent design focus, an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.

The right candidate will have excellent three-dimensional modelling and graphical representational skills as well as examples of work within professional practice. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software is essential as is an understanding of all Microsoft Office standard software. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred, and knowledge of Revit, 3D Studio Max and would be advantageous.
