Job Description
We are one of the biggest competitive clubs in the country, with 5 teams and over 100 members competing at University and National level. The club provides high quality training to all 5 teams with top level coaches and state of the art facilities. The hockey club is located on the Loughborough University Campus with one Waterbase pitch, laid in 2011, and one third generation pitch both used for competing and training. The club also has Physiotherapists, Nutritionists, Strength and Conditioning Coaches and Video Technology to provide an all-round High Performance Centre.

The club also has an excellent reputation for producing many international players with a repertoire of ex students such as Mary Nevill (GB & England), Jennie Bimson (GB & England), Fiona Greenham (GB & England), Kerry Williams (GB & England), Hannah Macleod (GB & England), Katie Long (GB & England), Beckie Herbert (GB & England), Nicola White (GB & England), Laura Unsworth (GB & England), Maddie Hinch (GB & England) Giselle Ansley (GB & England), Sarah Jones (Wales), Phoebe Richards (Wales) and Robyn Collins (Scotland)

Training:
Two training sessions a week (Tuesday 19:00-20:30, Thursday 17:30-19:00) at Loughborough University campus

Matches:
Saturday

Responsibilities/opportunities:
– Ideally a Level 1 qualified coach or above
– Work closely with 2s team alongside another experienced coach
– Attend all training sessions and ideally Saturday matches when possible
– Availability of CPD/development opportunities through the athletic union and coaching and volunteering academy
