Job Summary
First Kick was developed to provide children of all abilities with fun football and multi-sport experiences. Using the UK’s passion for sport, First Kick look to develop each child, delivering experiences and memories that will last for a lifetime.
The programmes are delivered by coaches of the highest quality and those that make sessions enjoyable for all primary school aged children that attend First Kick sessions.
Programmes include:
• Evening football development sessions
• Weekend pre-school football sessions
• Multi-sport holiday clubs during school holidays
• Birthday parties
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children, be studying a sports related qualification, or played football to a reasonable level.
Duties and responsibilities
• Assist Head Coaches with the delivery of sessions.
• Assist with health and safety aspects of First Kick programmes
• Work positively in accordance with our Equal Opportunities Policy
• Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Essential qualifications, skills, and abilities
• FA Coaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
• DBS Certification (can be attained through First Kick)
• Available for evening work
• Outgoing, fun personality
• Confident working both individually and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about football coaching
Desirable qualifications, skills, and abilities:
• First Aid & Safeguarding Certifications
• Full UK drivers Licence
• A team player
• Ability to put customers first.
• Flexible
• Managing Self /Relationships
• Other NGB coaching qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
