The Beckmead Family of Schools provide a nurturing, pupil focussed community for children in receipt of statements and EHCP’s for SEMH and autism with challenging behaviour. The group includes KS 1, 2, 3 & 4 SEMH schools, primary & secondary autism with challenging behaviour. KS2 short stay school, KS1 behaviour intervention classes based in mainstream schools, the Croydon Behaviour Support Team and the Community Learning Team – a commissioned service working with older boys requiring intensive short-term intervention. Beckmead College is being constructed and will open in September 2017 providing academic and vocational education for 100 pupils aged 14-19.

This post offers a unique opportunity to be part of Upper School as it plans and enacts its transition to the new Beckmead College. Working alongside the Head of Upper School – Mr Michael Nelson, you will be responsible for line managing an established, high achieving staff team who are dedicated to supporting our older pupils towards the best possible outcomes.
