Labour and Wait is a well established independent homeware retailer based in Shoreditch. We offer functional products for everyday life. We are an expanding business looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who shares our enthusiasm for timeless design.
The assistant manager will aid in the running of the retail store and mail order department.
He/she will provide our customers with the highest level of service possible and assist the store manager in the day-to-day running of the business. Overseeing staff, stock planning and ordering, and visual merchandising are key elements of the position.
Experience and requirements:
previous retail management experience
a flair for visual merchandising
ability to give clear directions and set expectations for staff
Apple Mac and iPad proficiency
self-motivated
able to train and delegate effectively
ability to problem solve
Salary commensurate with experience.
