We are a bespoke interior and branding design studio passionate about creating beautiful, award winning spaces and identities within the hospitality sector. We are looking for an energetic assistant to support our Design Director.
About you This role would suit a diligent, proactive young professional looking to enter the design industry in a business capacity / someone who feels comfortable in a vibrant design studio.
About us We’re a multidisciplinary studio committed to research and development. We spend much of our time learning about new materials, trends and techniques. We are fully design focused and our work reflects this. We believe in investing in our own people and work with team members to advance their skill-sets and progress within the studio.
Core responsibilities:
the primary responsibility is assisting the director; taking notes, building and monitoring daily to do lists, checking and answering emails, balancing external calendar and internal meetings, answering the phone
the ideal candidate will be able to anticipate ahead of time, any requirement the director might have during the running of his busy day
greeting visitors and clients, providing refreshments during meetings
the secondary responsibility will be financial administration and assisting with bookkeeping and liaising with external accountants
general office administration, working with the intern team, ordering supplies, handling post, filing and scanning
helping to keep the studio clean and tidy with support from the intern team
coordination of travel and all bookings
the chosen candidate will also work closely with the account managers and studio manager and will be exposed to interesting sectors of the business.
Requirements:
This position would suit a recent graduate or someone starting their career. We can provide training for this role, however, any previous working experience, whether administrative, voluntary, hospitality etc would be an advantage in proving thorough work ethic.
