Board /Panel Secretary – The Football Foundation – Central London

Job Description
The Football Foundation is the country’s largest sports charity. It funds the improvement of public sports facilities across the country – especially grassroots football facilities – with investment provided by the Premier League, The FA and the Government. Launched in July 2000, the Foundation has so far supported more than 13,000 grants worth more than £530m towards improving grassroots sport, which it has used to attract additional partnership funding totalling £736m, which means that the Foundation has been responsible for an investment of more than £1.3 billion into the grassroots game over the past 15 years.

The Foundation is recruiting for a Board and Panel Secretary who will report to the Senior Executive Team through the Chief Operating Officer. Working within the Executive Team this role is responsible for the smooth running of the Football Foundation and FSIF Board and Panel process, including all aspects of planning for meetings and the timely and accurate production, management and dissemination of agendas, papers, minutes and deadlines. The post holder will be required to work flexibly during and around Board and Panel meetings.

    Experience:

• High standard of minute taking and experience of committee management to Board Level or equivalent (Essential)
• Management of confidential information
• Experience in office filing systems
• Communication with key partners to ensure delivery of a high quality service (Essential).

    Key Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent IT skills including MS Office
• Excellent written English
• Proactive organisational skills and the ability to manage own work load in a flexible manner to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Extremely detail orientated
• Strong interpersonal skills.
