We are looking for a quality CAD draughtsman/architectural assistant to join our small, friendly team. We are a small interior architectural design practice based in Hampstead with an increasing workload specifically focused on the high end residential sector.

You will be responsible for the production of drawings and documents through all stages of the design process. You will aid in the design and concept stages, produce layouts, general arrangements, detailed technical drawings and full tender packages using AutoCAD in accordance with current building regulations and the clients project specifications. Expected to join the director at team, supplier and site meetings as required.

Required skills and expertise:

AutoCAD 2012
creative and passionate about design, architecture and interiors
experience of working within a construction role (desirable)
proficiency in SketchUp
a confident understanding of current building regulations and the planning application process
superb design and presentation skills
excellent detailing skills with experience of preparing tender and construction packages
meticulous detailing
organised and responsible for own time management
the candidate must respond to deadlines, communicate well, take instruction and be a team player with a positive outlook.
